Red Bull Art of Can – Dallas Event Recap and Photos!
Hello Sassies! As you know, Last weekend in Dallas was the party for the Red Bull Art of Can Exhibition featuring 50 art masterpieces on display at the event — All designed out of Red Bull Cans!!
You can see all the art on display no through August 22 at Galleria Dallas!
For the Gala Event held in Dallas this past weekend, I oversaw Event Production and Design, and I also MC’ed -held on the ice!!! at Galleria Dallas. It took us 15 hours to lay the plastic surface over the ice, then we carpeted the plastic flooring in white..looked just like ice! It was memorable and fabulous! We also constructed a 25 foot tall cylinder in the middle of the ice where I placed Dallas’ most fabulous DJ’s Jennifer Miller and Paul Paredes -after the DJ set I had the band ISHI perform! ISHI has had a stellar year, winning 102.1 The EDGES Battle for Edgefest, and most recently last week ISHI won the The 2010 Dallas Observer Music Awards for both Best New Act & Best Electronica/Dance Act!
Thank you to my dear friends and colleagues at Fun Factory Events of Dallas and LiveWire Special Events of Dallas!!! They did the implementation of the design for the event, and catering was by the amazing Westin Galleria Dallas. Brad Oldham of Dallas designed the trophies given to the top winners!
The event also featured a fashion show of fashions all made of Red Bull Can. The fashions were created by Dallas’ own Shirin Askari from Project Runway! Fabulous!!!
